Can the earthquakes occur anyplace where geothermal energy is produced and used? Or is it just certain areas where earthquakes are already common in the habitat? Like places where there are fault lines already.

The Pac-Car is the world record holder for fuel efficiency, now standing at 5,134 kilometres per litre of petrol. This converts to roughly 14,502 MPG!!!
Working prototype: 100 MPG+Plug-in Toyota Prius
We have Solar and wind alternative energy
we had the electric car which the oil companies killed
Geothermal heating
Wave power which is the energy of ocean surface waves and the capture of that energy to do useful work – including electricity generation, desalination, and the pumping of water (into reservoirs)
Just because the politicians are in the back pockets of the oil companies, does not mean we do not have the technology to be energy independent.
Do your research before you speak, think before you buy the arguments from big oil

I saw a show on the travel channel the other day about the Parthenon being rebuilt. I was wondering if engineers could do the same with other ancient buildings like the Colosseum, Neuschwanstein Castle, and many medieval churches. Actually, I think it would be cool if they completely renovated all the ancient landmarks around the world that are falling apart. Then they should be retrofitted with modern technology like solar panels, wind turbines, geothermal heating pumps, etc., etc. With the world getting overpopulated and global climate change, I see nothing wrong with revitalizing ancient buildings and making a modern use out of them. Does anyone have any thoughts on that?

House 1:
it Has 20 rooms if you don’t include the 8 bathrooms and all are heated by natural gas. It has a pool and a pool house plus and extra guest house. It consumes more energy in one month than the average American house does in a full year. The average electric bill is 2400.00 per month. In natural gas (which is fossil fuel) it comsumes more than 20 time the national average for an American home. This home is not in the snow belt or the desert.
House 2:
This house is 4000 square feet (4 bedrooms).A closet in the house holds geothermal heat pumps which draw ground water through pipes that are sunken 300 feet in the ground. The water heats the house in the winter and cools it in the summer. The system uses no fossil fuels such as oil or natural gas and it consumes 25% of the electricity of a conventional heating/cooling system. Rainwater from the roof is collected and funneled into a 25,000 and waste water is collected, purified , and used for irrigation of the landscaping.

I live in the midwest U.S. and may need to upgrade my HVAC. Does anyone here have a geothermal system and if so, have you had any bad experiences with them? Thanks
